海德京华国际双语学校社区日 Hyde Academy Community Days

On April 14, we successfully completed the first of what will be an annual tradition at Hyde Academy: Hyde Academy Community Days!

4月13日,14日两天,我校成功举办了第一个校园年度传统节日-海德京华国际双语学校社区日。

Every year during the spring, students and teachers will come together to brainstorm how they can improve their classroom and school environment.  Last week, over the course of 2 days, armed with paints, pens, tissue paper, balloons and a variety of other art material, the students put their creative hats on and brought their vision to life!

每年春天,海德京华国际双语学校的师生们都会聚在一起讨论如何让我们的校园与教室环境变得更加丰富多彩。上个星期,学生与老师用了整整两天的时间,利用各种材料如画布,彩笔,纸,气球,还有其他意想不到的装饰物,结合自己无限想象力与动手能力,将他们大脑风暴想出的建议魔法般地变成了现实。


Hyde Academy Community Days aim to give students a sense of ownership over their classroom and school environment, allow them to create a learning space they like and are comfortable in, inspire continued learning throughout the remaining year, and provide students an opportunity to connect with their peers through teamwork in a fun and engaging way.

海德京华国际双语学校社区日目的在于给学生对自己身处的学习环境有一个自主所有权,通过与同学老师一同欢乐地合作,将教室与校园环境创造成接下来的一年里自己热爱的舒适空间。

Grades 2-4

二、三、四年级

Grades 2, 3 & 4 students selected "the universe" as their chosen theme and decorated their classroom with floating planets, the galaxies and shooting stars. A quick trip to the local market later and the students even had a new classroom pet goldfish!

2-4年级的学生选择了教室主题"宇宙",教室天花板上挂满了学生自己亲手制作的“小星球”。他们还一同去了花鸟鱼虫市场,将新家庭成员漂亮的金鱼带到他们的教室!



Grades 5 & 6

五、六年级

Grades 5-6 decided to spruce up their classroom doors proposing several designs and voted for their favorite one.

5、6年级的学生其中一个社区日计划是设计教室的门,每个学生都设计了一个独一无二的门,大家投票表决,选出最喜欢的设计作为最后决定,其中有“小黄狗”和“月光下的小河”。

Grades 7-9

七、八、九年级

Divided into teams, grades 7-9 students selected countries that interested them including Russia, the U.S, Germany, Japan and England carried out further background research, and created artwork to represent the unique elements of each country’s food, culture, history and people.  

7-9年级学生被分到不同的小组,一同讨论选出最感兴趣的国家如俄罗斯,美国,日本,英国等作为教室围墙装饰文化角。每个小组的学生都收集了大量资料,找出所选国家的文化,人文,历史等象征物。
